MACC Seizes Cash In Probe Involving Ex-PM

The MACC has seized around 170 million ringgit in cash and a further 7 million in gold, as part of alleged corruption and money laundering investigations involving former PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The commission says the operation involved raids at multiple locations, following the arrest of four senior officers who served under Ismail Sabri during his tenure as prime minister.
The MACC is also expected to summon at least 10 more witnesses as part of its ongoing investigation into the case.

Climate change is becoming an increasing threat to Malaysia’s food security.
As such, the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry has emphasized the need for regional collaboration to address potential food shortages.
It adds that although Malaysia currently has enough rice stock for at least six months, the country's paddy production has dropped from 71% previously to only 56%, partly due to the effects of the erratic weather.
