Fahmi: Ramadhan Flexi Hours For Public Servants

Federal-level public servants will have flexible working hours during Ramadhan.
Goverment spokesman Fahmi Fadzil says they are given two options:
They can either maintain their regular office hours, or choose to take a shorter 30-minute break and leave for home 30 minutes earlier.
He said this during his media briefing in Putrajaya today.

Police have yet to determine what caused the death of a form-5 student during a school cross-country run in Sungai Petani, Kedah yesterday.
This is because a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive.
This means that cops will have to wait for lab test results to reach a conclusion.
Earlier reports said the student collapsed and died after completing the 6km run.

Kelantan police have recorded statements from the grandmother and relatives of the 19-month-old toddler who died of drowning in Tanah Merah, Kelantan earlier this week.
This, a day after cops interviewed the parents as part of ongoing investigations.
The boy was reported missing from his home on Monday, and his remains were found by a nearby river two days later.

The Federal Court has overturned the murder convictions and death sentences of 6 former UPNM students over the death of a navy cadet in 2017.
It instead reinstated their 18-year jail terms imposed by a lower court for committing culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
