t nhaveen's alleged murderers to enter defence

4 people have been ordered to enter their defence for the murder of teenager T. Nhaveen in Penang back in 2017.

According to FMT, this is after the Court of Appeal overturned their acquittals, which were granted 3 years ago.

The appellate court ruled that the prosecution had proved their case, and the trial will now resume at the George Town High Court.

The 17-year-old died following a brutal attack by a group of teenagers in Bukit Gelugor.

The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has taken legal action against a food company that made packaged sandwiches for a convenience store in Universiti Malaya.

This is after JAKIM confirmed that the sandwiches did NOT have proper halal certification, contrary to its packaging.

The Transport Ministry will not hesitate to take action against any form of corruption or breaches of integrity among JPJ officers.

It says it's ready to work with the MACC to investigate the existence of a protection racket for certain lorry owners, which allows their vehicles to avoid being stopped at roadblocks and inspections.

The Education Ministry says its RM150 early school aid, which is being disbursed starting today, can now be credited into any savings account.

This, after the payment scheme for recipients was expanded to include all banks.

It also warned schools against deducting any amount from the RM150, for any reason!
