Malaysia's Slowest City

George Town, Penang has topped the list of Malaysian cities with the slowest traffic!  

This is according to a report by an international GPS location services provider, which said that George Town drivers take an average of 26 minutes 36 seconds to drive 10 kilometres during morning rush hour.    

Kota Bharu, Kelantan; and Ipoh, Perak round up the top-three. 

Meanwhile KL was ranked the 5th slowest, with drivers taking around 17 minutes to travel 10km.

The Education Ministry is identifying those who shared fake news claiming that the SPM History exam paper was leaked, so that legal action can be taken against them.  

It previously clarified that viral screenshots of the supposed leak actually showed a list of topics from the History textbook, which were used as predictions for the exam. 

Separately, the ministry says this year's Bantuan Awal Persekolahan, or early school aid, will be paid out starting on Monday.

The Transport Ministry says the issue of school bus fares falls outside of its jurisdiction. 

This, after reports said that fares are expected to rise by as much as RM10 from next month, due to higher spare parts costs.
