Go Through NADMA To Channel Flood Aid

All aid for flood victims should be channeled through the National Disaster Management Agency, to ensure it is distributed efficiently and fairly.
The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry says there are concerns about overlapping aid…where some victims end up receiving multiple donations, while others are overlooked.
It says that while contributions from outside parties like NGO’s are appreciated…they should be given through the proper channels.

More than 2.6 million EPF members between the ages of 18 to 55 have achieved the basic savings according to age.
The finance ministry says this represents just 36 percent of the total number of active contributors.
It adds there are several reasons why so many members have insufficient savings…including low salary…inconsistent contributions and low financial literacy.
The basic savings refers to the EPF’s recommendation for members to have at least 240 thousand ringgit saved up, by the age of 55.

The National Registration Department has denied allegations of a data breach involving MyKad info.
It also assured that its systems remain secure with no suspicious activity detected.
This comes following reports claiming that the MyKad info of some 17 million Malaysians had been put up for sale on the dark web.
