Armed Forces Probing Viral Bully Case

The Armed Forces has promised a thorough and transparent probe into a bullying case at the National Defence University in Sungai Besi.
It says there will be no cover-ups, and promised tough disciplinary action against anyone found guilty.
It also urged the public to give the university space to investigate the incident, and to avoid any speculation that could interfere with the probe.
This, after a cadet was allegedly branded with a hot iron by his senior.

The Energy Commission has reminded Malaysians to prioritise electricity and gas safety during Deepavali and the holiday weekend.
This includes turning off non-essential switches and closing gas cylinder valves if they are going away from home for an extended period.
Also, the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has so far inspected nearly a thousand business premises nationwide, to ensure they are complying with the Deepavali price control scheme.
Price controls are in effect until this Sunday.
