Najib's 1MDB Trial Will Continue
Oct 30, 2024
Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s 1MDB trial will resume in early December.
This is after the KL High Court ordered the former PM to enter his defence on all charges of abuse of power and money laundering, of 1MDB funds worth RM2.2 billion.
Najib’s lawyers say they are disappointed with the ruling, claiming it was based on hearsay evidence.
He is already serving time in prison following his conviction in the first SRC International case.
Besides that, he is also facing another trial for allegedly laundering RM27m in SRC funds.
