Report Lodged Over Drug Sales On TikTok

MCMC has lodged a police report, over a TikTok user who allegedly sold drugs on the platform.
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil says the commission will also get in touch with TikTok, to find out how such an account could be allowed to operate...
He adds the account has already been removed, and the government has asked TikTok to check if there are other similar accounts.
Earlier reports accused the TikTok user of selling lolipops laced with recreational drugs like ketamine.

24 individuals linked to GISB have had their remand orders extended until Saturday.
They include its CEO and other members of its top leadership.
They’ being held to further assist investigations into allegations of child exploitation and sexual abuse at GISB linked welfare homes.
So far more than 300 people have been arrested, while nearly 600 children were rescued.

A man has been jailed for 12 months for his part in the cyberbullying that caused the death of social media influencer Esha back in July.
This is after the 40-year-old changed his plea to guilty, on counts of posting offensive comments about the influencer’s mother.
Esha was found dead at her apartment in Setapak, KL in July, in an apparent suicide, following a torrent of online abuse that caused widespread outrage.

Malaysia Airports says access to the KLIA’s two terminals has NOT been affected, after a sinkhole appeared near the airport’s Bunga Raya complex this morning.
MAHB also assured that the KLIA’s runways are intact.

A court in Seremban has awarded RM230,000 in damages to a woman and her 10-year-old daughter, in a negligence suit against the owner of two Rottweilers who attacked and injured them five years ago.
The plaintiffs were reportedly walking in front of the defendant’s house when the two dogs escaped from the compound and bit them.
