Underaged Driver, Boy Charged In Court

A 12-year-old boy has been taken to court over a viral video that allegedly showed him driving around a housing area in Puchong.
He pleaded not guilty to underaged driving.
Meanwhile his father pleaded not guilty on charges of child neglect and allowing an underaged person to drive.
Earlier reports said the boy was seen going on a joyride while two of his siblings were in the front passenger area.

People who have outstanding compounds issued by DBKL can now pay them off at a discount, in conjunction with National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations.
According to KL City Hall, the discounts will cover compounds issued for things such as parking offences.
The special rate for motorcycles has been set at RM10 while it’s RM20 for cars, multipurpose vehicles and small lorries.
The discounts are available until September 30th.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Public Private Partnership Unit Director General Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar has been appointed the new Chief Secretary to the Government.
He will replace Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, whose contract expires on August 11th.
