New Committee To Investigate Water Disruptions

The government is stepping up efforts to investigate water supply disruption incidents caused by pollution.
As such, the National Water Services Commission is setting up a special committee, which will include several parties including the Environment Department and water service operators.
This committee will find solutions for such issues by collecting information and evidence that they'll examine.
This, after the recent incidents of odor pollution in the Klang Valley which led to unscheduled water cuts.

DPM Datuk Sri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has revealed that the sponsorship from an alcoholic beverage company to a school in Sepang was for a charity concert.
He clarified that the funds were not meant as a donation for the school.
He adds that the concert was organized by the school's parent-teacher association and the school board.
