Don't assume that you can get away scot-free, if you post harmful comments on social media live streams.

The Communications Minister says many people wrongly believe that such messages simply disappear when the stream ends.

But according to Fahmi Fadzil, police and MCMC can still identify these troublemakers, with the help of social media platforms.

He said this amid the ongoing debate about cyberbullying.

KL police have told people NOT to speculate on the RM100 fine that was handed to a woman over the cyberbullying of social media influencer Esha.

The city's police chief says it was based on the strongest possible evidence they obtained, and the fine was the highest amount provided under the law she was charged with.

However, cops are ready to reopen their investigation if they receive new reports or leads.

The human remains found at an oil palm plantation in Hulu Selangor recently have been positively identified as reported murder victim Farah Kartini.

This is after DNA testing confirmed the identity of the woman, who was reported missing in Perak last week.
