PM: We Accept Sg Bakap Poll Result

The unity government has accepted the outcome of the Sungai Bakap by-election as the will of the people.
PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the result will push his administration to work even harder to improve everyone's wellbeing
This, after PN retained the state assembly seat, head of PH’s candidate.
Meanwhile, Penang police say they are satisfied with the running of the by-election, saying the voting process went smoothly with no reports of untoward incidents.

The Communications Ministry will have a meeting with social media providers later this month, to discuss cyberbullying.
It says it’s not happy with how these platforms have been handling the issue, despite several complaints.
It wants them to make comprehensive changes and be more responsible on cyberbullying.
It’s part of the government’s commitment to ensuring a safe online environment, especially for children and families.

The MACC says it has set up a special task force to probe allegations of mismanagement and other irregularities within the Human Resources Development Corporation.
The issues were highlighted in the recent Auditor General’s report.

The Education Ministry has again assured that all top-scoring SPM students will be given spots in matriculation colleges.
It says there are still some 10A SPM students who have yet to receive a place, and it needs time to sort things out.
