Zayn Rayyan's Grandparents ARRESTED!

Police have arrested the grandparents of murdered child Zayn Rayyan.  

The Selangor police chief confirmed that the couple was arrested this afternoon to assist with the murder investigation.   

He adds that the pair will be remanded tomorrow.  

Meanwhile, Zayn's mother did not make a plea at the Magistrates court this morning.  

Instead, her lawyer says she only gave a statement. 

Last year, the 6-year-old child with autism was found dead near his house in Damansara Damai after he was earlier reported missing.

The Health Ministry says follow-up action has been taken following the two food poisoning deaths at a school in Gombak.  

It also urged event organizers to ensure the cleanliness and safety of food. 

The ministry also reminded food suppliers to take into consideration the unpredictable weather conditions when preparing and storing food.

In a related development, police in Gombak have already recorded eight statements from families of the victims, and the food supplier.  

The organizers of the program, school principal, and those involved in the preparation of the food will also be called up soon.  

Meanwhile, authorities are still trying to identify other victims who were involved.
