Apr 02, 2024

You can now report cases of misconduct to the authorities via Whatsapp.

The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission says there are several quarters under its supervision that the public can lodge complaints under.

This includes the National Anti-Drugs Agency and Health Ministry.

Other departments under the Commission's wing include Safety and Health, Environment, Immigration, Road Transport, and Labour.

The hotline operates between 9AM to 5PM on weekdays at 019-355-5215.

Police will focus on reducing the number of road accidents during the Hari Raya season.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke says ensuring road safety is the only KPI that authorities under his ministry face.

As such, the viral message claiming that cops need to issue 13 thousand summonses during Aidilfitri to reach their KPI is fake.

Loke also reminded Malaysians to be cautious over viral news circulated on social media.

---

The Israeli man who was arrested last week had entered the country using a valid French passport.

As such, the Home Affairs Minister says our country's entry points are safe, and there's no alleged weakness.

Last week, the man was arrested at a hotel in KL, where he was found with six pistols.
