Don't hide your kids strange behaviour

Parents have been urged not to hide their children’s strange behaviour.

The Women, Family, and Community Development Ministry says it's because such behaviour could be due to a mental disorder.

As such, parents should seek immediate treatment for their kids, to avoid any detrimental situation if left untreated.

This comes after police in Perak recently found 15 pieces of cut-up body parts of an elderly woman, who is believed to have been murdered by her own son.

The 42-year-old suspect had received treatment as a mental patient two decades ago, however, did not receive follow up treatment.

Rise in HFMD cases in Johor and Penang

Johor has reported over 5,000 cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease so far this year.

State authorities say this is 50 times more than the same period last year.

As such, they hope parents will use the school holidays as an opportunity to teach their kids to maintain good personal hygiene, as a precaution against HFMD.

Meanwhile, parents in Penang have also been advised to take precautionary steps to prevent the spread of the disease.

This includes sending their kids for treatment if they show symptoms, as well as not bringing symptomatic children to public areas.

More than 3,000 cases have been recorded in Penang, which is 20 times more than the same time last year.

Cops nab man for allegedly causing five-car accident

Police in Negeri Sembilan have arrested a man, who tested positive for drugs, for allegedly causing a five-vehicle accident along the North-South Expressway.

Cops say none of the victims were injured.

This is after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
