MOH told to identify children who need aid after losing parents to Covid-19

The Health Ministry has been asked to compile a list of children who lost one or both of their parents to Covid-19.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says this is to ensure that aid can be extended to them.

This, as Malaysia reported a surge in Covid-19 infections yesterday, with 13,034 cases.

Selangor alone recorded almost half of the total, followed by KL, Johor and Negeri Sembilan.

Another 134 patients succumbed to the virus.

State authorities stressed that vaccinations will only be given to those with an appointment.
